Production equipment is adapted and reconfigured based on needs reported either digitally, by monitoring/control equipment, or by operators.

In this context, IRT Jules Verne is studying the autonomous implementation of such flexibility through:

 

  • the design of manufacturing, monitoring and control tools that can be assigned to several different types of task;
  • the systematic monitoring and control of manufacturing operations in order to predict their impact and adapt them accordingly.
